The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) is a hospitality university located in Hyderabad, India. It was established jointly by the Government of India and State Government. The campus is spread over 30 acres and has a built-up area of about 2 lakh square-foot in multiple blocks.
The institute offers various courses in tourism and hospitality management. It has been ranked 10th among the top Government HMIs in India. The college provides separate hostel facilities for both male and female students within the college campus complete with a homely atmosphere.
The library and e-library of the college comprises books, textbooks, reference books and digital material for the students to access anytime. NITHM provides a well-equipped gymnasium and a 5-acre sports ground for outdoor activities.
Dr. YSR National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) is an Autonomous Institute located in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The Institute started its academic operations in October 2004 and was formally inaugurated by the INC President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi on 16th March 2005.
NITHM is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Courses offered by the Institute are BBA, B.Sc. and MBA.
