NERMAI IAS ACADEMY

The fundamental reason for opening this academy is that, together with its 23 cadres, which include the Indian police force, the civil services exam is regarded as leading to the highest and most coveted position in the nation. Keeping this in mind, a lot of institutions have popped up all over the place, collecting thousands of dollars in tuition while crushing the dreams of several underprivileged students.

To combat this stigma, a group of young people from Puducherry founded the NERMAI IAS ACADEMY. It is a nonprofit organisation that is maintained and managed by volunteers from the Nermai Trust and Nermai Samuga Iyakkam. Its goal is to increase the employability of young people, particularly those from rural areas and economically and socially disadvantaged groups, in the public sector (government recruitment).
