In 1985–1986 the Maharashtra government created the Pre-IAS Training Center in Aurangabad. The government of Maharashtra's department of higher and technical education is responsible for running the center.

The Department of Higher and Technical Education has created such IAS Examination Training Institutes in Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Amravati, and Nasik to hasten the representation of students from Maharashtra State in the Indian Administrative Services.

The Govt. College of Arts and Science, Kile Ark, is close to the Pre-IAS Training Center in Aurangabad, which is located in the city's center and close to Subhedari Guest House.

  • The trainees have the chance to develop their knowledge and soft skills here.

  • More than 5,400 volumes are available in the library to help pupils increase their knowledge and comprehension skills. The library has been effective in assisting the students in getting the results they want. 
  • The workforce at this institute has extensive experience doing normal tasks and fulfilling assigned assignments. Supervisor, Junior Clerk, Librarian/Warden, Office Peons & Sweepers, and watchmen make up the staff.
