De-novo Registration is Registration in which The Total periods of First time registration duration (Which is 5 Years) Had Been Expired.in others words you can also say Denovo Registration means Renewing the registration or Revalidating the registration periods by the students.
Before Going for The registration for denovo Ready with Follwoing things:-
1.Required Fees as may in Your Case.
2.Your Student Logi id and Password.
3.Debit or Credit Card If You Are paying Through online mode.
Guidelines For De-Novo Registration.
(A) Guidelines for candidates seeking registration de novo within two years of the expiry of the previous registration.
- 1. A person whose registration has been cancelled on expiry of five-years period or otherwise may within two years of cancellation of former registration may seek registration de novo on payment of the following fees:
(i) Registration fee: Rs.1500
(ii) (a) Where a student has not completed coaching for both modules of Executive Programme /all modules of Professional Programme , balance of Rs.5,000 of the postal tuition fee if enrolled for Executive Programme or balance of Rs. 7,500, if enrolled for Professional Programme , as the case may be, after adjusting the amount paid on this account earlier. However, credit for having completed coaching in a particular module may be given if the coaching completion certificate has not been issued due to invalid registration or any other reason.
(b) Postal tuition fee of Rs 7500 in the case of students who have passed the Executive Programme examination but not enrolled for the Professional Programme .
(c) Arrears of postal tuition fee, if due, under former registration where the students have been issued with coaching completion certificate(s) for both modules of ExecutiveProgramme/all modules of Professional Programme as the case may be.
- 2. On the student being registered de novo he/she will be given credit for the orall or postal tuition completed during the validity of his previous registration in the corresponding paper(s) of the new syllabus. Such a student shall not be supplied with the study material afresh. Study material can however be obtained on payment of Rs. 160 per subject. Student Company Secretary will be sent free of cost during the validity period of registration de novo from the month subsequent to the month in which the student was registered de novo.
(B) Guidelines for candidates seeking registration de novo after two years of the expiry of previous registration.
- 1. A person whose registration has been cancelled or has terminated on expiry of five-year period and has not sought registration de novo within two years of the expiry of former registration may seek registration de novo within 5 years of the cancellation/termination of his former registration on payment of the following fees:
(i) Registration fee Rs. 1500
(ii) Exemption fee for
(a) Foundation Programme Rs. 500
(b) Executive Programme Examination
(if already passed) Rs. 500
(iii) Paperwise exemption fee
(a) Executive Programme Rs. 100 per paper
(b) Professional Programme Rs. 100 per paper
(iv) Where a student has not completed coaching for both modules of Executive Programme /all modules of Professional Programme : balance of Rs. 5,000 of the postal tuition fee, if enrolled for Executive Programme or balance of Rs. 7,500 if enrolled for Professional Programme , as the case may be. However, credit for having completed the coaching in a particular module may be given if the coaching completion certificate has not been issued due to invalid registration or any other reason.
(v) Rs. 7,500 in the case of students who have passed the Executive Programme but not enrolled for the Professional Programme .
(vi) Arrears of postal tuition fee, if due, under former registration where the students have been issued with coaching completion certificates for both modules of Executive Programme /all modules of Professional Programme .
- 2. On the student being registered de novo, he will be given credit for the oral or postal tuition completed during the validity of his previous registration in the corresponding paper(s) at the new syllabus. Such a student shall not be supplied with the study material afresh. Study material can however be obtained on payment @ Rs. 160 per subject. Student Company Secretary will be sent free of cost during the validity period of registration de novo from the month.

How To Get Registered For De-Novo Registrations?
Many of the Students had Lost its Registration periods and do not have an idea about how to register for denovo registration.today i will tell you simple 7 Steps for How to Get Registred for Denovo.
STEP 1: Click the Online Services button on the home page of www.icsi.edu.
you Can see below picture for Reference.
STEP -2 : Click on the Student login option.
After Clicking ONLINE services button you have to go the below of the page.You Can see there Student Login Tab.
STEP-3 : Enter your User name (i.e. Registration number) and Password and Click on Login.
After Clicking on the Student Login Tab.Login With your Student Login id and Password given by ICSI.
STEP-4 : Go to “Students” option and then click on “My Account”.
After login in to your account you can see New options on the top or above near heading.Go to Student>My Account Section.
STEP-5 : Go to “Payment Requests” option and click on “Denovo Registration & Extension ”
After Reaching to My Account Section Go to Payment Request>Denovo Resgistration and Extension.
STEP-6 : Select Request Type and Payment mode and then click on “Submit Request”
After going to Denovo Resgistration and Extension section Fill out the required filled in the Required section.you can see in the image below for reference.
after filling out required information you have to submit the application.after clicking on the submit button,Request ID and Transaction ID will be generated on successful submission of the request.
STEP-7 : Proceed for payment through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking/Challan.
This is the final stage of your Denovo Registration process.in this section you have to made payments for denovo registrations.you can make payment through either debit card or credit card or through Bank challan.
Click on the Proceeds to Payments option and you are taken to the Payments page option.
For all successful payments an acknowledgement receipt is generated and intimation will be sent on the respective email ID. In case acknowledgement is not generated due to any reason, follow the procedure as given below: Click Student-> select My Account Click payment request->Generate payment Receipt Write Request id and Transaction id and click on check status.
STEP-8 : Please download the de novo registration Letter from Section “Letter for student” in “other” option.
Note- : iF You are able to make payments or payments failed for various reasons.In case of unsuccessful payment you hav to Re-submit your request.

Ans:-You can apply for registration de-novo ( i.e. renewal of registration ) immediately on expiry of five years from the date of his previous registration but in any case within five years from the date of expiry of the registration.
2.What is the validity of de-novo registration ?
Ans:-De-novo registration is valid for further period of five years.
3.How many times I can apply for registration De-novo?
Ans:-Registration De-novo can be sought on a continuous basis unlimited number of times, provided the same are sought within the stipulated period.
4.How much fees I am required to pay for applying for registration De-novo ?
Ans:- Rs.2,000/- (lump- sum) Students who apply for Registration de-novo within two years of the expiry of former registration. Rs 3,000/- (lump-sum) If students fail to apply for Registration de-novo within two years of expiry Registration, they may still seek Registration denovo within a maximum period of five years from the expiry of former registration. . Students belonging to Physically Handicapped Category and SC/ST Category will be required to remit only 25% and 50% respectively of the lumpsum fee applicable for General Category Students as mentioned above for seeking Registration Denovo.
5.What is the last date for applying for De Novo / Extension of Registration ?
Ans:-The following are the cut-off dates for applying for De Novo vis-à-vis the CS Examinations conducted in June & December: 20th February: ( For June session of examination ) & 20th August : ( For Dec session of examination ) .
Note:-( Students whose status can be ascertained only after declaration of the results in February/ August may apply for Denovo/ Extension alongwith examination application for the June/ December session of examination. ) .
